Updating your Local Offer

The Northwards Local Offer was agreed by the Northwards Board at its meeting in May 2011. Although we don't have to do so, we would normally update the Local Offer every year.

At the moment it is difficult to update the Local Offer given the number of issues still under discussion between Northwards and the Council. In particular: the level of future funding available, the service specification (including any new areas of work which the Council might wants Northwards to take on) and the Asset Management Strategy setting out priorities for future investment in homes and neighbourhoods.

In view of all this, we have decided not to update the Local Offer for the moment. We will look to do so towards the end of 2012 or in early 2013, in time to launch a new and updated Local Offer in April 2013 - by which time all the issues outlined above ought to have been resolved, with a new Management Agreement in place between Northwards and the Council.
